SpinTek Filtration Inc. has been manufacturing proprietary industrial filtration systems for over 30 years. Filtration Media

Anthracite: The top layer of media is coarse anthracite, selected to provide the majority of organic coalescing from the aqueous stream. It also serves as a coarse filter media before the primary filtering garnet bed.

Garnet: The filtering layer of media in a SpinTek SX filter is finely crushed garnet. This garnet, which also acts as a coalescing media, serves as the primary filtering layer that provides the ten-micron rating of the filter.

Sand: The sand layer is used to fill the lower head of the pressure vessel below the outlet laterals and serves as a support bed for the garnet.

Matrix Plates: Designed to provide excellent organic recovery of up to 75% from the electrolyte or raffinate stream.

The SpinTek Dual Media SX filters are freestanding, self-contained units available in a variety of standard sizes, with individual unit flow rates of up to 1,000 gpm (227 m³/hr). Numerous units can be combined to achieve much higher flow rates. All vessels, media, piping, instruments, and controls are supplied for a fully automatic and operational filtration system.
